Cayuga Duck Questions

Hi everyone! I'm new to this website but I've combed through most of the Cayuga Duck threads and I still have a few questions. I purchased 2 Cayuga Ducklings from North 40 Outfitters about 3 weeks ago (they're adorable!) but the lady that helped me didn't know if they were male or female despite her efforts. When I came home I tried to sex them myself and as far as I can tell they appeared to both be female but I'm not sure. One I'm worried might be male (Cadbury). He's all black and very quiet. The other Duckling I'm almost confident is a female (Peeps). She has a yellow chest and a tiny yellow dot on the top of her bill and she is super vocal. Anyways! These are my questions:

1) Do I need to be concerned about Babies if one turns out to be a male?

2) This may sound silly but we've noticed that they seem to have quite the radar for us! Any time my HUsband or I walk into our room they start chirping up a storm. Or if I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, no matter how quiet I am they wake up from a dead sleep and start chirping! They also enjoy curling up with our Pug. It's quite the site. We have them in a big see through bin and we set them in front of our giant living room windows during the day to sunbathe and we always find our Pug curled up to the bin! Does this mean that they have become attached to us or is this just how the breed is? Are they going to be ok when we finally move them to our yard? We our outside most days playing with our children or working in the garden but I was just hoping it wouldn't be a hard transition for them.

Thank you for your help!

Here's a video I took when they were 2 days old

They will very likely try to have babies if one if male, but you can prevent this by taking the eggs the female lays the day they're laid and get her off any nest she builds. It sounds like they've become quite attached to you and your dog. Most ducklings raised from that early age bond with the people taking care of them. They should be just fine when you move them outside as long as they have a coop to sleep in at night. If you sit with them for a few hours a day they should be very happy little ducks. (You can also buy them a baby pool to swim in if your willing to clean it.)
