I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Nice to meet you  Ana..  You start a new thread just the way you  started your introduction.  For instance if you want to know the breed/gender of your chicks.  You start a thread at

"what breed or gender is this."  Six to 8 weeks of age  is a good time for that.  A short cut for finding things is to put item or name  in the search box, and it will pop up.

Hello Ana in Chicago....

I just never thought there would be many chickens in Chicago.

Bears maybe (Chicago Bears). But not chickens.

As Drumstick Diva said, you just sort of poke around and start

you a thread where you think it goes.

You just got your chickens? What breed were they supposed to

be?

Spook...who thought Chicago was too crowded for him. Big city.

Hi Ana and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us.

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced poultry keepers - loads of info on anything poultry. http://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

You may wish to consider joining your state thread  as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - just type the name of your state in the search box.

All the best

I bought them at a feed store 2 of them were labled easter eaggers americunas(? Myspelling is horrible.) My ohter one was labled amberlink although i had to call and make sure. I have done so uch research over the past year before getting them but reading about them is different from actually having them.

Their names are peanut butter ,jelly , and banana.
