Also which is better 2 males or 2 females? I'm looking for calm, friendly and loving bird non agressive!! Any ideas and tips would be great

You can keep ducks and geese together if you raise them together, they'll think they're siblings. Males can get a little aggressive during breeding season which tends to put people off males. Females are louder than males and make way more noise. That doesn't mean you should just over look boys, my house duck is a mallard drake and he's like a feathery puppy. The kind you get, goose or duck, really comes down to which one you like better. If you want both then you can but make sure you get them as ducklings so they bond with you, though I've found you get the strongest bond if you hatch them from an egg. Each duck and goose is different, a breed may be famous for being calm and tame but the one you get may be wild and mean, they're like people. Regardless of what you get ducks and geese are wonderful pets.
