Just wanted to say hello to all the members of Backyard Chickens. I'm excited to be a part of this group. I'm looking forward to all the great information, the opportunity to make new friends, the camaraderie with other chicken lovers, and the opportunity to share information that I've gleaned over the last few years of being a crazy chicken lady.
I have a relatively small flock. I have Buff Orpingtons, Australorps, Silkies, Bearded Belgium bantams, Gold Laced Seabright bantam, white leghorns, Barred Rocks, golden laced Wyandotte, Cochin bantam, and sizzles. I love each and every one of them.
If I can be of any assistance at all, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks again for the opportunity to be part of this group, and I look forward to meeting everyone. :-)

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us and that you are willing to help others out. The whole ethos of BYC is that we help each other out. A member posts a question, then those that are able, contribute their experience / advice. Done this way, a member can get a variety of responses - which is always better than one. Please assist where you can - I'm sure that members will be happy to receive your wisdom. We have members from all over the world, and we all do things differently and thats what makes this site so interesting, so don't be surprised to read that theres more than one way to skin a cat! :)

All the best

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
