bought eggs on ebay, anything special needs to be done

I just put them in 5minutes ago. gonna go pull them out. bought them close, fresh, and from someone who still had 100% positive after over 1500 sales. i'll know in a week. thanks :)
 
It depends on the air cells. Candle the air cells and see what the damage there is. Loose wobbly air cells are easier to work with than totally detached. I have a shipped silkies in my bator now going into day 14. There were a few with wobbly air cells, but none detached. I let them sit at rest for 12 hours before putting them in the bator. When I did put them in I put them in cut down cartons for the first 24 hours with no turning. The second day I tilted the carton 3xs a day. By the third day the air cells were firm and I took them out of the cartons and laid them down (I prefer hand turning, so I don't use my turner.)

If you have a lot of detached air cells you might want to give it 2-3 days before starting to turn.

Not hard if you know how to candle. If they are fixed and at the top where they are supposed to be, you're good. IF they are where they are supposed to be and wobble a little, they still have a good chance of firming up and growing right. If they are detached and floating all over when you tilt the egg or are ruptured into many small "bubbles" then you've got a hard hatch on your hands and these should be given an extra day or two w/o turning by most hatchers recommendations.

But just remember, even an egg with no to seemingly little air cell damage can be damaged at an unseen cellular level.
 
there is slight movement in most. I have never checked air cell before. so I am not quite sure what I a looking at. one is completely detached.

Sounds like they aren't too bad then if they are mostly all just a little wobbly. I'd put them in upright. And not turn for 24 hours. That will get them started and give them a little more time to firm up before turning.
