Hi my name is Rebecca.
I'm looking for any information on a sick 3 week old chick. She tucks her head, and falls over, and does a summersault. She eats, and drinks. I'm not sure what happened to her. I have my first flock of 31 chicks, and this is the only one that is behaving this way. I have separated her, given her electrolytes, and probiotics, medicated feed. Not sure what to do. I don't know if she will survive.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Alright make sure the rest of the chicks get the same and slow down on the meds as your chick is very small and fragile

If would be good if you post photos of how the chick stands or pulls her head in when you post on the ER thread. You can see her clearly, they cannot - so every detail will be of help to them.

Sorry to hear you have a chick with problems...CTKen is right, head on over to the emergencies forum and give them all the details you can. Hopefully, they will be able to help you get your chick back on the road to healthy.
