Not sure. The bright sun and shadow makes it hard to see details. Maybe a couple more pics in better light would help.
X2. I'm leaning towards pullet but by 12 weeks it should have saddle feathers if it's a boy..

Probably just a mixed breed. Both look like pullets.Hi! So my sis and i won 2 chicks at a raffle. One im sure is an rir but the other? I have guesses on it. Im thinking either an old english game bantam or a norwegian Jaerhon. What do you all think? Also, pullet or cockerels? Theyre about 2 months old.
A little younger pics here
And when they were babies
sorry so many pics!

They are born with combs, and you can start to see wattles as early as 4 weeks old. Pullets don't start to turn red in the comb until they are getting close to laying eggs. Cockerels are bright red in the comb by 10 weeks old.How early will pullets start growing combs and wattles? Mine are six weeks old and I just noticed that all three now have comb buds and one has the teeniest wattle starting. Or is it very breed specific?
