Generally speaking, sexing a WH by bill color only works the first couple days. Even then it doesn't work all the time.

they are only two days old, hatched yesterday I am sure since the store got them this morning.

They actually look like hybrid 300s

NPIP CERTIFIED! Al's Quackery is a small waterfowl farm in Southern Maine. I raise ducks, ducklings, geese, goslings and sell hatching eggs.
Ducks: Anconas (Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lavender, Lilac and Silver),  Muscovy (barred in black, blue, chocolate and combo, ripples in dark, chocolate, and blue shades, lavenders, and looneys in blue, black, chocolate and lilac)

Call Ducks: pied / magpie...

wow! right on the money! I think your right! they look exactly like golden 300. I am super excited now because I really wanted golden 300 but didn't want that volume that you have to order online. now I am nervous that their drakes though because they are so dark brown.

Okay update! Here they are now. However i lost the bigger of the brown ones last night. I think ot was a boy he was bigger than the rest with a raspy quack. I think he got out the new pen we made and was either chased or eaten because theres no trace of him anywhere. Not a feather or struggle scene. I am still hoping he pops up tonight. But i think its a loss at this point. Everyone ran out this morning looking for him and honking but they gave up after awhile. I thought i heard him reply back but couldn't pin point where the sound was coming from. Sad but here are my 2 ducks.[IMG][IMG] any know for sure what it is?

The brown one is a male rouen that hasn't gotten in his pretty colored feathers yet

really that's what I thought when they were baby ducklings but everyone said no, still confused
