Hello! I'm a first time chicken owner and I have two 6 week old chicks that I have gender questions about. One was sold to me as an Americauna (but may actually be an Easter Egger) the other is a Silver Laced Wyandotte. I got them both (along with 5 other chicks of varying breeds) from our local Farm Supply company. I have small children and have told them that we need to wait to name the chicks until we are sure they 1. will make it through chickhood and 2. Are actually hens. We live on a 1/2 acre but are within city limits and are unable to keep roosters. Please take a look at my pictures
