Wing feathering, shape ?

Hi everyone, my two chicks that I'm guessin are between 1-2 weeks old have their wing feathers coming in strong but they are 2 totally different shapes (to me at least lol) Do the shapes of their wings vary by breed or gender? Thanks for any insight!

Yes. Males have shorter, even feather rows, while females have longer, staggered rows. This is apparent only during the first week. After that the boys catch up.

This isn't conclusive evidence, though, of gender. You need to confirm you suspicions around age six weeks when the boys will get a more pinkish tint to their combs while the girls combs will remain a pale yellowish until point of lay.
