I had 3 chicks hatch under my broody hen and they appeared to be extremely healthy. 3 days later 2 more baby chicks hatched except one was deceased when I went to check. It was still under mom and appeared to be still wet. All 4 appeared to be happy and healthy and we're eating and drinking. Since then 2 more have died on different days. The one I found today was underneath some hay and it looked as though it's leg was broken and mangled. Should I move the last 2 chicks away from mom? I have an ecoglow that will keep them warm without her.
