Brand new too chickens. Pullet or cockerel????

Hi everyone! We chose our first three chicks about 8 weeks ago and are a little concerned our sweet speckled Sussex Melba might be a rooster. I have looked thru numerous pics and threads and am as confused as ever. Any thoughts from those more experienced would be much appreciated

I'm sorry to say it, but that's definately a rooster. Young roosters combs grow much quicker than pullets do.
 
Thanks everyone!!! Looks like we will need to rehome my favorite chicken. The hatchery we got her from helps with that which is comforting. They suggested we wait another 4-6 weeks just to be sure before we bring Melba/ Melvin back. I'm hoping I'll be surprised and my golden laced Wyandotte and buff orpington won't need to see their companion leave!!
