I wish I could hatch more, but not right now. I have four sweet young laying hens, two adorable eight-week-old roosters that I hatched on my first attempt, and these babies. This batch of babies brings my total to ten, which is about the maximum my coop can hold.Congrats on your babies! Planning on hatching anymore? I'd keep hatching if I had more people to give the chicks to but my parents aren't going to be able to take many more and after this hatch I'll be maxed out at my house. It's addicting though!
Really hoping that more than one of the babies is a hen. Watching them closely for roostery-ness. My little roosters from the last hatch started developing pink combs and wattles at the age of fifteen days!
