Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

There's no cut-in-the-stone answer to your

question, Mamahigh.

Will the biddys be the only thing in your new coop?

Can you provide a heat lamp in the coop if needed?

Do you have a brooder in the coop?

Sort of just varies.

Do you think they are ready?

Meanwhile, back at the farm...Welcome to Backyard

Chickens. You will find a lot of information (and friends)

in the forums.

So just make yourself at home.

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad to have you join us. Spook has raised some very good points. You may wish to type "from brooder to coop" in the search box for further information.

All the best

Usually when they are fully feathered out  - 6-8 weeks old  unless you are having severe weather.

Thank you for your replies. No I do not have a brooder in the coop and yes they will be the only ones in it. We are not fully feathered yet. Just checking around for opinions for now. It's kind of like trying to figure out if you're sending your little ones to nursery school to soon. Thanks for your help!
