I have a help-a-long chick whom I suspect is either somewhat Blind or ..slow ..challenged??? . She is 10 days old.- eating and drinking (finding her way slowly to the feeders- water but she seems to do so by sound- hearing the others getting excited when the feeder is filled and the pecking sounds she pecks at the air at times...until she gets to the right spot in feeder. She doesn't seem to peck around or navigate (altho she can walk fine) Her eyes are normal looking and so is she other than the non navigation and exploring the others do. Would it be visible to me to check her pupil dilation to light in a dark room ? Is this something a chickens eyes normally do is dilate to light ?
