Just wanted to share my coop that I built in February with my kids. I bought 12 mature red buff orpintons and built this coop for them. Since I'm in the building trades I got a little crazy but my coop couldn't have turned out better! Most of the materials used were western red cedar and cypress. I'm averaging 8-12 eggs per day right now. I have been wanting chickens for a few years and jumped at the chance of having my own fresh eggs to share and sell to friends and family. Looking forward to sharing and reading about everyone else's experiences! Rick
