I just got a 4 week old chocolate ameraucana chick. This is the youngest chick I've ever cared for. Ive only dealt with 10 weeks and older. I got my new chick 2 days ago she seemed well/ healthy, and full of energy. I am not using a heat lamp because she's inside and I thought the heat in the house was enough. This morning I found her unable to walk, and my husband questioned maybe she's cold. I immediately took her outside in the sun. She's very alert, chirping away, even eating on her own as long as she doesnt have to move to the bowl, and drinking. She's had 2 bowl movements a bit on the watery side nothing that was alarming. We got a heat lamp, and shes been under it for 8 hours, and still not able to walk. I dont think shes cold any longer. I read other forums maybe B2 deficiency. I supplemented her it about hour ago. Any other thoughts of what might be going on. I find it so weird she's all with it, but now unable to walk! Please help if you might know what this is or how to help her get back on her feet!
