Alright :welcome great to have you joining the BYC flock :frow

BYC has a very useful Learning Center always good info there to read :caf

Sounds like your duck stepped on something sharp and you might want to check for a thorn or other object just as you would check your on foot for a thorn or other furan object :)

If her foot is swollen, it could be infected.  Is her foot hot to the touch?  Does she protest if you touch it?  Have you checked the bottom of her foot?  I don't know if ducks can get bumble  foot like chickens do. How old is she?   Some ducks can have a niacin deficiency  that causes leg problems.      Posting on the duck threads or taking her to a vet would be better than listening to me.
