Please Help Me Sex My 7-Week Old Ameraucanas

I agree they're both pullets.

I had fertility issues with a splash Ameraucana rooster also. Kinda makes one wonder.......


Anyway, you might try putting a wanted ad on CL or here on byc for a cockerel. I put one out on a whim, never thought there would be folks with pure bred birds around me. Turns out there are at least two folks with Ameraucana, and lots of other rare pure breeds. You just never know.

Wow, that is interesting. Hmm. It is also good news to know that they are available. It is so hard to find someone reputable who is not selling Easter Eggers, knowingly or unknowingly.

Wow, it sounds pretty unanimous! I guess, I am thrilled that they are both pullets, but I will have to make some decisions regarding this rooster.
 
They look like both pullets. And they are super pretty. There is something about this breed that catches my eye every time! We have two Easter Eggers that were supposed to be Ameraucanas but no such luck. Sweet little hens regard less!

When I posted my wanted ad, I was very specific about the breed and color I wanted, and I think I stated if the bird was purchased from a feed store it was not what I was looking for. I knew I might be flooded with folks wanting me to take their EE cockerel, but I don't really remember getting many of those.

If you put your location in your profile, you might be amazed who in byc is withing a reasonable driving distance from you
