New baby chick with leg problems?

So this chick is about a day old and I noticed that it has not been able to get up on its feet and kind of scoots along its two feet are both up at an odd angle... Have you dealt with this? what did you do?





 
It may have splay leg where the legs don't come together . Get a bandaid and cut it in half lengthwise, or use vet wrap stips, and bring the legs together with about an inch and 1/4 of space. Leave it on for 3-5 days. The other worse defect is a slipped tendon or leg bone deformity, but try treating for splay leg first. Here are some good articles to read:

I looked up splayed leg and neither of his legs goes straight out. Keeps both of them bent..could splayed legs be present if both legs are kept curled under the chick?? The more I read it is looking to me like joint or tendon problem in both legs.
 
So I looked closer and see how they angle and went with the splayed leg dx and banded them together as shown and is actually moving around better, still difficult but it is improved from not moving before.
