Suspected impacted crop, any other options?

I have an ill chicken, looking for success stories.

This has been a persistent problem over the past few weeks, with up and down activity levels and appetite. Taken a turn for the worse over the past couple days with even lower activity level.

Problem seems to be impacted crop, as she wakes up in the morning with a full crop. We've purged her many times and nothing interesting comes up.

Problem seemed to originate about a month ago, with bad grain and lack of grit. Did a purge cycle for a few days and she bounced back, but not all the way back. Would sometimes be found pouting but generally still with it.

Most recently, when she started looking much worse again, fed mixture of cooked oats + electrolytes/vitamins + sauerkraut juice.

Then started purging in AM about a day after that. First sign of sour crop (odor) yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon offered cottage cheese + dried nettles. She had a small appetite.

This morning purged again. Also force-fed cottage cheese liquid + flax + small amount of dry nettles. I'm hoping the cottage cheese helps with any sour crop, also offers extra calories. And I hope the flax will help whatever won't come up to go down.

She is very skinny and lethargic.

Besides surgery, any other tips would be appreciated. I think we have exhausted our options. If she is still very weak/lethargic tomorrow morning I am considering dispatching her (so she doesn't have to just slowly starve to death).

My new question is, how come whenever I post a thread on BYC, I get no responses? Is there some etiquette I'm missing?
