Bumble foot palooza! HELP!

This is the nasty kernel I was able to express from the top of the foot the other night.. Horrible, considering this is the third time doing this... I feel so bad for this little gal :( she's in so much pain.

You may want to separate her and place her in a kennel inside the run on clean dry bedding to limit her activity to see if that helps. If she is in pain some people give an aspirin solution or get something from the vet. Since she is not healing you may have to resort to antibiotic use, you can ask your vet for one that will fight staph infection or you can see if your local feed store recommends one.

ASPIRIN SOLUTION
Used as a general treatment for reducing distress conditions of birds (fever or listlessness) that accompanies many diseases.
Dissolve five (5 grain) aspirin tablets in one gallon of water.
Offer this solution free-choice to the birds for the duration of an illness. The solution aspirin equivalent to 25 grains/gallon or 324 mg/gallon of drinking water. The dosage rate is about 25 mg/lb body weight per day. (http://extension.msstate.edu/content/solutions-and-treatments)

Thank you, I did put her in a dog crate in the barn.. I cleaned the foot soaked it in warm Epsom salt water and then reapplied the antibiotic powder to the freshly cleaned opened scab area and then applied lavender oil (studies have shown it kills MRSA) just for the heck of it, and wrapped her back up. I'm curious to see how it looks this evening.

I do have the vet coming out today for the horses, I'll see if she can bring me something else to try. Or give me an oral or injectable antibiotic for her.

I would be interested to know how the lavender oil works (hope it does:) ).
Please keep us updated.
As crazy as it may seem to some, I THINK the Lavender oil/ Neo Predef powder wrap is working... Here's an updated photo I just took. This will be the 3rd time wrapping with this concoction.. She is still lame and immobile, but is eating and drinking. Tomorrow we are deworming (her comb and waddles are a bit anemic looking) the entire flock with Wazine.. Maybe that will help their immune systems out a little..

There are quite a few people who treat with oils and herbs. I am always interested in seeing what works for others. I like to know what alternative options can be suggested.
Thank you for the update and please continue to let us know how it's working, it can be very helpful in the future.
