Raising ornamental pheasants in temminick,saytr,cheers,edwards,blue eareds,germain peacocks,eliot,swinhoe,mikado,lewis silver,impeyan,brown eared,and grey peacock pheasant,diamond doves and cockatiels.New breeds added red golden,yellow golden,amherst,silvers.

I would guess male too

Obviously male, yes. The red color on his belly is not present in females. I'm guessing he's cinnamon red breasted, but I'm not an expert when it comes to colors.

Looks more like the normal coloring to me.But males will have red and hens will not.

He's not normal, that much I can tell, as I have those myself. They have an obvious pattern to the back feathers and two parallel stripes, one on each side of the spine. And a darker brown base color to the feathers on the back. Also, the red color is more limited to the vent area and doesn't go up as far on the sides and breast. And of course they have more of the black and white pattern in the face/chin area..
