Hello BYC family!

First off, thank you for all of your warm welcomes and very much appreciated and valued advice. I know our chicks are still pretty young. We think they are 4 weeks old. When we got them from the local hardware store, they were guessing that the chicks were about a week or so old. That was on 3/25/16 when we purchased them. They said they had already had the chicks for about almost a week at that point. They are still pretty little, but changing and growing so much! The two big birds that I have concerns with are chirping differently then all the other ones. They have more of a scruffy squawk...almost likened unto a crow if that makes sense? They also have pretty big, stocky feet. Their combs are more visible as well. Then there are the three black ones. Two of them are smaller with pretty white patterns. The other black one is bigger and more black. Then there is the red ones with pretty big tail feathers. Among the group of reds, there is one that has almost all white wings with very short tail feathers. My question to you wonderful people is do you happen to notice any males among our flock yet? Now that they are changing, what possible breeds do you see here? Again, we were told from the hardware store that they were IsaBrowns, but I don't think that is the case here. So sorry to bother you. You might see me post more pictures as they get older and ask more questions. On a side note: They are loving their new and bigger brooder box with perches. YAY for happy chicks!

Have a wonderful day,

Sarah*
