This is Pip and Giselle. Pip is in the roost bar and I think he crowed for the first time. It was a pretty funny sound. They are both 7 weeks old. I'm wondering if Giselle is a pulley or not. I've read others saying their Blue Andalusians at 8 weeks hardly have a comb and although hers is not as red or big as Pip's it's definitely there. I don't see her chest bumping other chickens or acting as "cocky" though. Thanks!

At that age, both are cockerels. Pip's may be smaller and less red, but the comb/wattles are too large and too pink to be a pullet so young.

Almost 11 weeks and Pip (the one with more black) has been crowing for 3 weeks. Peg hasn't uttered a sound. Wouldn't roosters of the same age and breed crow at the same time? My hopes are getting up that Peg is a girl. That comb and wattle are so big and red though. I guess I'll know for certain in a month or two. Pip, the def roo is on the left.

Both are cockerels. One is just maturing a bit faster than the other. Just look at the feathers on the back in this pic. Pip has very obvious male saddle feathers coming in. Now, look at 'Peg'. Do you see the same sort of feathers, just not quite as long yet? Both undoubtedly male.

Definitely two cockerels. I've seen them both crow and look at those combs and wattles now!

Now, what to do with 2 blue Andalusian roosters?! I also have a mottled Java roo and 2 bantam roos. :(
