In the Brooder
So it all started.... my pigs found their way into the coop!!!
One of our voops is a barn stall across from our 3 hogs and when we let the pigs out for their evening sun bath and roll in the grass our
BOSS HOG found his way of unlocking the door and into the chicken coop... surprisingly enough our pigs decide not to have chicken for dinner thankfully lol but shortly after the mishap and after the chickens had their free range time out.... when they were put back in the coop we ended up with 2 eggs which is normal after an outting but surprisingly when I went to gather them one was SHELL-LESS!!! Could this have been an egg that was passed during to being scared from the pig encounter??? Seeing as though they have already went through their winter cycle and had been laying perfectly good eggs for a couple months now... plus they get plenty of bugs oyster shells grit and scratch grain plus various fruits and veggies... so just wondering if dthis egg has been laid under developed due to being frightened or if there is another reason.. also will this effect future eggs from her??
