Maran 5 week old, girl or boy?

I've assumed this is a boy because of how it is feathered. It hatched March 10th. I was noticing today though that the comb is very small, at best, and not remotely pink. Thoughts?

Still too young, stance looks rooster but nothing else yet, I would wait a few weeks yet.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.

Looks like a girl to me.

Marans roos usually telecast very early (see my BCM hatch below in byline...you'll see the roo compared to his two sisters).

Also, Marans stand taller, even the pullets, as chicks, so that is not indicative.

That comb, though, is. It is saying all pullet at this point.

The chick next to the maran is 2 weeks younger. She's a brahma/ameraucana mix. It would be nice if this was a pullet actually. I'll post an update in a couple of weeks.
