What to do with unneeded chicks

Any ideas on what to do with chicks if they hatch but we don't want them? That sounds terrible, but we don't want a large flock. Can we take them to feed stores, sell them, or Craigslist maybe??

Put them on CL. You should be able to get $3-5 a chick straight run.

CL works for me.

Why are you setting eggs if you don't want chicks?

I'm sorry, I worded that question terribly😂 I was basically trying to ask if we can sell chicks to help pay for chicken supplies or just money, or other options if for what ever reason we don't keep them.

Okay, that makes sense :). I was just confused cause chickens are much easier to control their reproduction than a lot of mammals folks keep as pets.

Yep, selling chicks is usually pretty easy to do.
