Among my cochin bantam chicks (nearly 100% certain they are bantam cochin) are three that I thought I knew the color pattern, but something doesn't seem quite right. (side note: I have never raised this color variety in cochins before) All three have black feathers with white tips on the body. However, the wings don't seem to match the body. The feathers are black with the shaft (primary vein) gold on two and silver on one. I thought I had 1 silver laced cochin and 2 gold laced cochins, but now I am not so sure. They are juveniles and still getting all their feathers, so I know they still may change a bit before they are done. I could just use some reassurances.

Pullet Chick #1.
You can see the gold pin striping on the wings and back, and mottling on the chest.

Pullet Chick #2
Same as chick #1 with a bit more gold on the wings

Cockerel Chick #3
Silver striping instead of gold.
