You just get mixed breeds :) They'll have traits from whatever parents were bred to create the original sex link cross.

WOW! That just boggles my mind! So weird!! have YOU ever bred them?
Also... what do you think would happen if i bred a sexlink hen to a bantam frizzle cochin roo?

thanks so much! :)

Half the chicks would be frizzle since that is a dominant gene and all chicks that get it will express it, and they'd have feathered feet as that is a dominant trait.

Since sex links themselves aren't a real breed, they don't breed true :) I've personally never bred two sex links together since I don't have a sex link rooster.

Okay... thank you :) i kinda want to breed 2 sexlinks but my rooster is NOT interested in mating. i will let you know if i do :) maybe post pix?

I have had chickens that were the result of breeding 2 red sex links together. The babies all looked like the F1 females, that is to say they were all red with some white toward the back of them. The males and females all hatched out looking like that. Only the F1 cross has the characteristic autosexing feature of the hybrid. Here is one of the females from the cross at about 10 weeks or so

and the males looked exactly the same except for big ol wattles and combs at that age. The females from the cross did retain the characteristic of great production, they lay probably 28 eggs a month even at 2 years old.

Here they are quite a bit younger, male on the left, female on the right. You can see in this case, breeding a sex link to a sex link you lose the feature where the males hatch out white.
