Gender guesses - EE's, SLW's, Welsummers

I'm brand new here and plan to read far more than I post. That said, in my intro thread Ol Gray Mare suggested I post pictures of my chicks to see if anyone has gender suggestions. They were hatched 3/27, so are now just a smudge over three weeks old. The SLW's are obvious to me at this point, as is one of the Welsummers, but the rest are a straight run mystery. I'll be sure to update the thread as they grow, much thanks for any insight smile.png

SLW1 (pullet?)

SLW2 (cockerel - it seriously bums me out that he's already got so much attitude to boot because I think he's going to be really pretty)

EE1

EE2

EE3

EE4

W1

W2

W3

W4 (suspected cockerel, he's nearly rumpless while the others all have tail feathers, he's been far slower to feather out, faded "eyeliner" and v on head

For fun, the only two I KNOW are pullets are my Speckled Sussex

That's largely what I expected too. Thank you for your reply ChickenLover!

Any tips on what to really focus in on to confirm in the upcoming weeks? Being completely green to chickens is it realistic to leave them together until fall or will that likely cause too much chaos?

You'll want to watch comb/wattle growth, watch for saddle feathers growinginat the base of the tail feathers, curving tail feathers, crowing around 9 or so weeks.
I've kept several roosters together and they never fought. It seems to me if they grow up together there's less of a chance for "arguments" between them, but each rooster has a different personality, and if it comes to aggressive fighting, it's time to separate them. Of course there's always the choice of a BBQ too, but I don't have the heart. I find it best to not keep them in the samepen as the hens if you have the roosters together, but that's my opinion.
