I have an established Flock of 5 RIR hens. My kids hatched chicks about 7 weeks ago. We moved them to our large coop, in a separate pin, and our black copper maran got out and the big girls killed her. We are heart broken. If I tried to replace her, will my 7 week chicks bully a new chick the same way the older birds do?
