Hi all! I am new to raising chickens & just got 12 Americana chicks. They are all growing like crazy and seem to be healthy except 1 has a watery crusty eye. It looks like some down got in her eye & irritated it. We tried a qtip to wipe the crusty off & push the down away from the eye. It looked better that day but then got crusty again. She (or he) is eating, drinking & is as sociable like the others babies. Any suggestions for this newbie chicken farmer?
