This is my first time owning chickens and my first time posting. I have three Black Australorps that are three weeks old and I think one might be a cockerel. It's feathers seemed to be growing in slower from the beginning than the others and it looks very different. Also, I have two Silver Laced Wyandottes who are two weeks old and I suspect that one of them is also a cockerel. The one that I think is female has tail feathers and the other one doesn't. Expert advice appreciated!

Black Australorp in question

Another one of "him"

These are the three Australorps together and you can really see the difference.

This is my SLW

This shows the two SLW's side by side and you can see the one has tail feathers and the other one doesn't

Again with the tail feathers

I am new back to chickens after 20 years (retired now, happy to be back) My two cents worth.....that pink comb sure looks rooster! Nice looking chicks!
