First Ducklings Arrived!

I ordered my little runners from Metzers a couple months back and they arrived today after being shipped Monday! 13 happy peeping little ducklings who immediately took to running. They're making it hard to even get any good pictures :lol: My duck endeavor has officially begun and I'm so happy to have started with runners.

Are there any suggestions as to the best way to remove the rubberbands? I want to make it as gentle on them as possible and those little legs look so delicate.

I replied to another post of yours! For the rubber bands (I also ordered from Metzer) I took a pair of small scissors that came in a knitting repair kit. I gently pulled the rubber bands up away from their legs and cut them. It's a lot easier to do it when they're younger. They may seem delicate, but remember they got the rubber bands on them. It was pretty easy to remove, and doesn't take much effort. I was pretty scared of doing it as well, which is why I waited a couple days to remove from some of them (the first batch) but I shouldn't have and regretted it.
