This is my Australorp chick, he/she is 6 weeks old today. I have been wondering 4ever if he is he/she. H/she comb is redder than the rest of the chicks but smaller. H/she's feet (see 3rd pic) is a lot bigger than the rest of my chicks. H/She also acts braver and cockier. I am still puzzled. H/she also has had longer tail sickles since the get go. I'm also wondering about this chick:

I don't many other good pics of this chick, it is VERY flighty. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Your australorp looks like a pullet to me. The Easter egger looks pretty feminine too, but the comb is fairly wide. That can be a sign of a cockerel in EEs. I'm tentatively saying pullet on that one, but maybe post new photos of her in a week or two to be sure.

Okay, so my EE chick has long and pointy feathers, does this mean anything?

Not yet. Male specific feathering doesn't begin to develop until about 10 weeks, and it can be several more weeks for that feathering to be clearly visible. For chicks under 10 weeks old, comb color is the best indicator of gender.
