I hope the 4 continue to develop and hatch perfectly. :fl

So I have high hopes for this hatch.  They'd better hatch - Katiebug is way too excited for words at this point.  I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with 16 Silkies!

Hay, I got nest boxes just like yours only mine have tops! When one of my hens went broody I had no place to put her and she was taking up egg laying space. They are a lot better than the cheap wood nest boxes and better than the plastis ground covers that you can get.

Mine had tops, but after they start hatching chicks I take the top off so hopefully the hen can get out easier and not smash the chicks. I use the tops for everyday laying and up until hatch. Love them for egg boxes!

Sorry to hear about dropping one. They should make eggs in a non-slip variety.

The voices in my head are fighting again.

My imaginary friend is running with scissors, and one of my personalities wandered off.

I don't like to think before I speak. I like to be just as surprised as everyone else about what comes out my mouth.

Sometimes even I am afraid of the things my mind comes up with.

I know!!!  Kendra was standing right there next to me and said, "Ooopsie."  Yeah, that's for sure, BabyGirl!  But I checked it out - no mistaking that bright bullseye!

As for the rest of them though... why, you should build another coop and run of course!!!

My salmon Faverolle eggs just came in the mail! Out of 15 I only saw two detached air cells. I've got them all in an egg carton in the basement. What are the chances that they will reattach and be ok?!
