As the lone woman in a all boys household, human and furry, I was hoping that I would have some female friends. I'm starting to think not! 4 chicks at 5 weeks old. What are you thoughts:

Welsummer- dark v and eyeliner as a chick compared to sibs, thought for sure she was a girl but now I'm second guessing

Lavender Orp is a roo...as you suspected.

EE's are pullets...color patterns and comb shape/color.

Now that Welsummer. I'm thinking you may have a Brown Leghorn rather than a Welsummer...is the chest salmon? or brown (hard to tell with my monitor as I have it set a little warmer for glare). If it is a true salmon, then you should have a Welsummer pullet as Welsummer roos have a black chest. The comb is a bit developed, but still pretty pale in color and could simply be a bit precocious for a pullet. However, if that is a warm brown chest, you've got a Brown Leghorn, and that probably is male. Brown Leghorn and Welsummer are really hard to tell apart as chicks. As adults, the Leghorn is warm brown for both sexes and has white ear lobes. Welsummers have red earlobes.

So watch development on that bird...chest color should be a pretty salmon if female Welsummer, and red earlobes will eventually develop. Time will tell.

Here's photos of one of my Welsummer pullets as a baby. She too had a bit of precocious comb, but her coloring was clear. She grew up to lay gorgeous dark brown eggs.

I bought them from a Mennonite woman who hatched 2 'pure' Americanas (EEs) a Welsummer, and. Lav Orpington. Let's just say there wasn't as much communication as I would have liked or expected, but it was a Craigslist type ad and those breeds are few and far between in Ontario for small orders like mine. I took my chances. Still happy though

I just noticed that legs look a bit dark and is that a single or pea comb on the Lav Orp? (Photo is unclear)

It too may be another EE. Still likely roo but comb is not as red on my mobile...you might luck out and have a pullet EE on that.

His legs are dark grey and huge. He is very subdued and acts much differently than the other 3. Wattles are coming in and comb is turning red.
 
That's a single comb.

Orpingtons normally have white legs, but I've noticed in a few hatchery photos their Lavender Orpingtons have grey legs...I've only had the Buff variety, so I can believe that the grey would come in with the diluted black genes necessary for the lavender color....leg genetics is something I haven't mastered yet (and is not fully understood).

So I can believe it is a Lavender Orp...and yeah, looks to be a roo. I've looked at it on 2 different monitors and that is pretty pink for that age.
