I think we will definitely try the EcoGlow again for the next round, but we were just learning with our first batch. All great ideas! Thanks for sharing! :) We were terrified of heat lamps, too, so we just kept our brooder inside.

Well, tonight we had an incident that totally reaffirmed why I went with the ecoglow over a heat lamp! One of our dogs must have tripped over the cord and instead of knocking a hot lamp onto carpet or pine shavings, it just turned the heater off. I noticed about a half hour later when it started to get noisy in the brooder. Ecoglow is back on and everyone is happy again (except the clumsy Great Dane who has been banned from the room for now! wink.png )
