When should I let my chicks outside?

We've been taking our 2.5 week olds on short field trips outside for a week now, but it's been warm (70-80) here. They love it!!
 
You can start short trips outside as soon as you get them. Just make sure that it's warm and sunny, and watch them for signs that they are getting chilled. Lots of people brood chicks right out in the coop from the start.
