I'm from the Eastside of Indianapolis. Spent the last 2 months building a new coop & 12x6 run, now I am looking for chickens! Seems everywhere you can order from has only days old babies...my problem is I have no where BUT the run/coop to house them. Would they survive out there? Or is it necessary to keep them indoors for weeks? Or...is there anywhere that you can get juveniles from near me?
