I'm new to rearing baby chicks so learning day by day. Loving my 4 chicks!
I'm told two are black australorps, one at 2 weeks and looks huge for its age! The little one is 4 days old. The other two are Lohmann Browns, 2 weeks and the other one a week old.
Kids picked them out of all the hatched chicks from a visiting chick hatching program.
They are providing hours of free educational entertainment and so much love and affection. They aren't shy and easy to handle.
I'm guessing I have two Roos but who knows!?? Check out the pics and let me know what you all think.
How old is best before I can move them to the coop? And what size space should I keep them in right now

?
Their box is about 100cmx50cm and already looking a bit small. They're all keen to get out even the baby. I've let them out in the garden to explore and they seemed fine outside. Not sure if they're ready to sleep outdoors.
Any advice will be humbly accepted.
Kindest regards
