I'm on day 14 of my first time incubating chicken eggs. I'm using a still sir incubator with an automatic turner. I placed the eggs fat end down in the Turner. Now I read I should have placed on their side or small end down. Is it too late to reposition ? And which way should they be positioned?

Candle the eggs. If the air cell is on the rounded end you should be fine. I have not used an incubator in a long time (prefer broody hens), but I think it is pointed end down.

Hi and welcome to BYC. I'd suggest posting your question in the "incubating and hatching eggs" forum. I only use broodies, so i have no knowledge about incubators, sorry!

Good luck
