BSL Hens?

My family adopted these two hens a month or so ago and we were told they were female Black Sex Links. They look quite different from each other as well. Are they indeed BSL hens? We aren't allowed roosters in my area, so I hope they are hens! I'd appreciate any help! Thanks!

Does the darker one also have some reddish feathering around her neck? It is hard to see in the picture. Most BSL will have some red leakage, similar to your other hen, but this will change somewhat as they grow and molt. They both look like girls.

They look like pullets. The first one definitely looks like a BSL, but the other one looks more like a Australorp.
Could you post a pic of the darker ones chest?

#1 is a BSL pullet
#2 maybe a BSL pullet but as the other members have said we need a picture of the chest
