Do "lap chickens" really exist?

She get jealous when I hold other hens, and tries to peck them, she does that little suspicious walk- fake pecking at the ground that roosters do and edges her way closer so she can get to them. The she chases them away when I put them down.
After that, she comes to me to be cuddled:gig

Oh my gosh, of course lap chickens exist! All of my little chickens love jumping up to get loves even the fiesty roos.

Yes, the Olive Egger hen in my profile photo "Pearl" is very shy but whenever I sit or hunker down in the run she hops on my lap for a cuddle. Her sister "Edna" is much less shy and will actually peck my leg to get my attention so I will pick her up and cuddle her.

I like to sit in the run with my ladies and a couple of them fly-jump in my lap to roost on my shoulders they nudge my hair around and nestle in it for a nice nap. :)
