How can i fix my hen she has a bald back and has a big gash on her side from my rooster i need help asap.

To start with you can put neosporin without pain relief (this is very important, the pain relief is toxic to birds) on the gash. You should also get her a hen saddle. They are for sale here on the forums in the "Everything Else" section in the Buy Sell Trade area.

You may also want to trim your rooster's spurs to prevent a repeat injury. I suspect you may also not have enough hens for your rooster - how many hens and roosters do you have?

You're welcome! I saw in another of your posts that you have 28 pullets growing up so that will take the pressure off your hen once they are mating age. Until then I'd keep her and the rooster separate to avoid overmating if they are your only adult birds smile.png
