Yes, I have her parents, and they are properly coloured buff orpingtons. So technically she is the correct breed, however the incorrect colouring. It seems that because her parents are brother and sister she has displayed their 'wild' genes in her feathering. Well, that is how I'm led to believe it works. I'm not experienced enough to know the exact way to explain it but I have had some advice/input from knowledgable/professional duck breeders.

that is correct, she looks more rouen/mallard. both her parents are buff orpingtons though, full brother and sister, I'm led to believe that she has that colouring due to the gene pool being very close, she's thrown the 'wild' type feathers.
