I bought these 3 from a lady who said they were 6 weeks old last week. They are all 3 different sizes though and she had at least 20 chicks running around in the pen all different ages, or at least it appeared that way to me. She must have let all 3 of her hens sit and I honestly think she was guessing at age. Anyway, I have never owned a silkie or a bantam breed so I am no good at telling ages of the small ones. I know silkies are notoriously hard to sex but I figured I'd give it a go for those who like to take a guess. I will come back and update this thread once I can confirm what they are. I figure that will help others! Thanks in advance!

They still have a bit of chick down around the head and neck, so 6 weeks is a pretty good estimate. The Black's comb is a bit pronounced, but it's still much too early to say it's a cockerel for sure. The other two look like pullets for now.

The tall black one has a nice s shape and is standing tall like a cockerel but, a pullet can certainly pull herself up like that if interested in something. Can't tell if the white or smaller black have feathered feet - and can't see much of the white while it's face down.
