They go in and out all day but i find them in a pile keeping each other warm in the yard in the evening? Babies, gotta love them : ) they are the only birds in the pen and seem to like their coop but definitely love the outdoors better. Breed is EE. Thanks for your help and chicken lessons in advance.

Stick them in at night and lock them there till morning...I've never had any figure it out without me teaching them what they're suppose to do at dusk.
I have 1 fat cat, and raise true black/blue, silver, white and wheaten Ameraucanas, runmpless araucana, Olive eggers, speckled sussex, wheaten and copper marans, lavender orpingtons, 1 pet delaware hen, white crested and buff laced polish, 1 pet barred rock hen,1 ring neck cock pheasant, 6 ring neck hens, 4 guinea fowl, a smorgasbord of turkeys, 2 kids, and 1 husband.

At that age, you need to physically put them in the coop and shut them in each night. Be consistent, and pretty soon, they'll be doing it on their own.

Ok. I'll quit worrying and teach them. Thanks
