Ok here are a few more photos. I looked at the calendar and I believe it's about 7-8 weeks. I'm thinking the Spurs are starting to show. The BR actually started crowing today.

First of all, it's MALE. Zero question about that. Second of all, NO, the spurs are not starting to show because both sexes have spur buds and the male spurs do not even really come in until they are 10 months to a year old. BUT, you have a cockerel, if you are correct on the age.

 

 

 

ETA: haha, I didn't realize this was YOU, lol! I already commented that it was a cockerel. Now, there's no question at all. :D 

 

The best sexing photos are full body from the side, with bird standing normally, in daylight, but not glarey light. The last one is pretty telling.

Well....cockerel it is. Started crowing this morning finally.
